In February 1999, we adopted an X-Color girl, Angel from Sweden. Here we introduce you this X-Color Norwegian Forest Cats: Cinnamon, Fawn and Chocolate. X-Color cats started with one fantastic color cat born in February 1992. This cat named S*Wildwood's Imer looked Blue Torbie though he was a male. As you know, it's very rare to have a torbie male by a genetic reason. There's another male named Iros, he also had a fantastic color coat. First, they have registered Imer as Blue Tabby, Iros as Golden Tabby, but they were changed to Lilac Tabby (Fawn Tabby now: Imer) and Chocolate Tabby (Cinnamon Tabby now: Iros) since their color had changed when their first birthday came. Since then, X-Color cats have been born every year. Now there're about 40 X-Color Norwegian Forest Cats in Sweden, Germany and Norway. You can read more about this X-Color Norwegian Forest Cat in "Norwegian Forest X-Cats". S*Porfygardens Angel (Cinnamon Mackerel Tabby) Sire: S*Wildwood's Imer (First born X-Color cat), Fawn Tabby Dam: S*Porfygardens Scarlett Surprise, Cinnamon Silver Torbie We met them in our first trip to Sweden. We're so impressed by their beautiful colors. Imer was so friendly, we played with him and hugged him. Scarlett lived in a lovely house by the lake, she liked take a walk around the lake. Her photo in the dusk is our favorite. We're so glad to be able to adopt their lovely kitten. It takes 1 to 1 and half year for X-Color Cats' color to change completely, they say. So we'll show you how Angel's color changes in every month. |
